What's it worth? Mercury

    Mercury dime has this dip but looked at the leaves in the dip and looks like it probably is a machine damgage. Is there a term for this? Any value for an error coin?

    I'm not an error collector, but it appears as though it could have been struck on a defective planchet. Assuming that's true, I have no idea as to value. My gut feeling is that it wouldn't command a significant premium.
