Hi All, I am wondering if you know the value of a sealed mint bag of 4,000 Massachusetts State Quarters. I also have a 2001-P bag of $1,000 face value from Virgina & North Carolina. Thanks for any info you can provide! :smile
Thanks for the replies, there are some comedians here! I was thinking they would be worth a bit more than face value do to the fact that there is the possibility to discover errors. I know a good state quarter error could fetch $100's of dollars. Thanks again for your responses!
You might get a couple dollars over face value on ebay but I don't think it would be worth the trouble. A dealer would probably only give you face if he were interested at all. I'd dump them at a bank.
There is a slight premium value on ebay for a sealed bag, but none anywhere for a searched bag. If I had nothing else to kill time, I would open and search, otherwise write the best "truth", such as "mint sealed, may be lots of errors, great to keep kids and old men busy", and begin the price at (face+shipping+ebay fees), but offer it as free shipping as many will worry about the weight, so any over that would be your profit. Good luck. Welcome to the Forum !
