It looks like the coin is a mislabeled 1879 CC which is a $5,000-$6,000 coin.

Which is why you buy the coin not the label....

 

I think it is remarkable that both NGC and Teletrade made the mistake. NGC initially,and Teletrade followed. I think if teletrade noticed, they would have corrected it...

 

Numismedia has it at $8040, but I don't think there is any meat on it. With the Buyer's Premium, (it's a sunday auction) it is over $6200.

 

Teletrade said "NOT SOLD" hum....

 

Matt's got it right. Funny thing is the prices are about right for the actual coins. Teletrade must have been looking strictly at the coin and not the label. Southgate got it right all the way.

 

Yea, matt said 5 to 6 and when I lasted checked it was at $5400($6210wBP) and now "not sold"
