Hello to all. This is my first post. I need some help. I keep seeing the term "radar note". What is the definition. I tried the search engine here and did not find the answer I was looking for. thanks
That's when the serial number is a numerical "palindrome", that is, when the serial is read the same left-to-right as right-to-left. For example: 12344321 23155132 99822899 and so on... The word "radar" is itself an example.
a radar note is a note that has a serial number that reads the same backwards and forwards... A12344321A would be a radar. On radar notes, the letters do not always have to match... so A12344321B woudl also be considered a radar ... however, radars where the letters are also included fetch higher premiums.
what is note that has the same number, but they do not read backward an forward , 18868168, is this anything?
Like what everyone said...radar serial is a serial number that when you read from left-to-right is the same from right-to-left. (IN GENERAL) There's a special type of radar serial called "SUPER RADAR". Super Radar is when the serial number contains only two different numbers; all those digits inside the number are ALL identical and the first and last numbers of the serial are the same but different from interior numbers. My example of a Super Radar that is also a ROTATOR: Serial 80000008! Pic:
