Then don't buy it. Just because it isn't worth nearly that much to you doesn't mean it might not be worth that amount to someone else.

Sellers are entitled to set any price they wish. Any so-called "market price" is irrelevant to an individual sale. If the price they wish is too high to entice a sale then it won't sell. However, if someone does buy it then it was obviously worth that amount--at least to the buyer at that particular point in time and his valuation of the coin is the only one that matters.

It seems a tad high. There is a "make offer" button if you care to bid what it's really worth, and insult him at the same time.

I agree, but then some people should be insulted.

I agree, but then some ridiculously high dollar offerings on eBay deserve to be offended.

I do agree, some people could use a good insult, just to put them back into reality. We all know a few people like that, some don't have the ability to take insults or constructive criticism for that matter. Just picture Clark's brother-in-law Eddie in the National Lampoons movies if you need an example.

eBay has become an advertisers mecca in that lately, I have to wait 20-30 seconds for all the adverts to load before I can look at anything.

    Argh!
