Those Obverse photos are out of focus .. Looks to be at least XF .. maybe even AU50 .. but cannot tell based on what I see. can't see well enough but those lines look like striations
On remaining detail alone, this is well low. Perhaps take the opportunity to compare to graded examples; at the very least it would be a good exercise and learning experience.
got the lens today, not thrilled...I can get the whole coin in one shot. But here is some more photos....possibly we can narrow down the wide range of grades. Thanks.
I have to figure out a way to keep the lens flush, if you look, the tops of the pics are blurry. I also can not fit the whole coin in 1 pic.
I like it at XF45 straight based on the new pictures. I think it could benefit from a soak in some VerdiCare though, because it looks like there are quite a few scattered spots of what looks like verdigris (most notably between 9 0 in the date, but other places, too, like in the E on AMERICA). Great find!
