I am contemplating having this coin slabbed, but I'm still not sure.
    Any thoughts?
    All grade inquiries are welcomed.

    Thanks in advance.

Very interesting. Most collectors wouldn't think to look too closely at a coin like this...non-silver...mid-40's...tiny coin...and yet here's the Krause price guide:

    F: $180
    VF: $210
    XF: $3.75 (hooray, typo...)
    UNC: $475

Would I get it slabbed if it were mine? Yep. Looks to be at least AU to me, no major problems (unless that's a scratch to the right of ORE? Maybe it's a die crack or a hair lol)

Wow! It's gone up in value according to Krause.
When I purchased this coin from a bargain bin ten years ago, it was valued at:
    1947(h) N; GJ F 85.00, VF 115, XF 170, UNC 230

I'd put it at XF/AU and will happily give you the full 3.75 book value for it! Lol

The NGC World Coin Price Guide is a bit lower:

Now to check my hoard to see if I've accidentally picked one of these up...haha...

The NGC chart seems to be more realistic. Thanks

Well, didn't find any of those. Did find a 1922 25 Ore, though, so I didn't "leave empty handed."

Speaking of sneaky valuable Danish coins, I got this one in a group lot that I bought on eBay this week. I just looked it up and it says $35 in F! Whether that's accurate I don't know but I was surprised. I wonder if I can get that black stuff off? 1935 denmark 1 krone.jpg
