I'll take a crack a rookie..MS65? I don' know if the ding on the obverse or the swirled reverse, dinged rim are factors or whether those are part of the encasing though. (ducking)
First let me say that I think This is a very nice coin. The tone on this coin is what most collectors are looking for unless they want rainbow tone coins. The luster looks like it's dripping from the coin. I could only imagine cartwheel when holding this coin and rolling it in your hand. Both the obverse and reverse fields are utterly fantastic. Though it has the one nick on the cheek, under your magnification I'd say this has to be over emphasized, and I believe it is a nick not a gash under this magnification. I understand how some will severely grade coins with a nick on the cheek since it is the obverse of the coin and the main focal point on the entire coin, but this appears to be the only mark on the entire coin, and with all other areas being exceptional, I’d I will call it all day long a MS-66. Now if only it had FBL’$
Nice clean coin except for that hit on Franklins jaw , that and the weak strike I'd say MS-64 . rzage
Well, by now you have me wanting to know what grade the coin really is. If you know, please share it.
