There are a lot of interesting coins out there. If you had a windfall of $1000 to spend on coins, what would you buy? Would you buy five $200 coins, two $500 ones, or one at $1000? Would you be interested in investment value, or just get something you've always wanted? Proofs, business strikes, type coins, or to fill out a series? But more to the point, exactly what would you buy? Feel free to post pictures of what you'd like. I'm hoping to catch an idea of what would excite you, and maybe become excited about it myself!
I would buy a XF trade dollar and with the extra money I would just work on my circulation type set. Sent from my A463BG using Tapatalk
$1k would be enough for me to return to buying and flipping Morgans, and the whole point of the exercise would be to acquire specific VAMs in order to expand the knowledge base via imaging of relevant details. It's an extreme irritation to me that at least half of the thousands of attributed VAMs have insufficient information available for accurate identification.
This...and thanks for the Christmas gift. You can even save yourself 100 bucks. Just make your check out to Eye Appealing Coins and tell them to ship to me. They already have my address.
A grand would be hard for me to choose which coin id want, so I would just go buy a Ruger Redhawk .44 mag. You know, for hunting, mammoths
