I am going to get some wheat cent rolls ready to sell. These are not unsearched and will be listed that way. I am going to do them by the decade. 50's, 40's, 30's, 20's and teens.

I plan on charging 2.99 shipping

There are many ways to make a lot of money, but if you are honest and ethical, you can hopefully get $3.00 a roll. People pay a hundred bucks if you put 2 VDB cents on the ends, but it is a shame that it's hard to get them to bid 3 bucks on an honest auction. Even at 3 bucks, you won't make any real profit after fees. The older rolls could start at $4 or $5.

$4 to 5$ for the older rolls? Really? Wow!

I will buy some of the rolls from you without you putting them on ebay. Let me know what you think is a fair price and let me know. I am feeling holes with my son and would rather buy from someone here than on the auctions. PM me if interested

I have like 4 cents per coin in cost. Just wanting to lower inventory of stuff I don't need and to raise some extra capital.

I think I may just do that.

That also reminded me of my favorite movie "If You build it, he will come"

Over the last few weeks, I've been selling on ebay pre-1960 rolls of Canadian coins and those have been averaging $3-$4 U.S. per roll for the solid date rolls (1939, 1940 etc.). That was without any hype or bull. The bulk of the mixed 40's and mixed 50's decades went on Kijiji and I've had offers which I'm considering. I sold a pile of them already. There's about 200 rolls left and if I get $1.50 a roll (buyer takes all), I'll be happy.

I've recouped my initial investment already plus made up a nice collection for myself. I'll still make a tidy profit once the rest are unloaded in the next couple of days.

I haven't tried to unload my wheats or memorial yet so I can't comment on how they'll do.

If you do okay on them, I might try mine on ebay next fall.

$4-$5 on older rolls seems a bit low. I've seen many rolls of only teens, or only 20's sell fro at least $10

I would buy a few from you, too sweetwheatz. Save yourself the fees. If you have a list or website somewhere, send me the link. I'd be interested in some singles if you have them.

You can put a buy it now or a reserve at $10, but to get bidders on an auction style listing, you have to start low.

Why hasn't this thread been moved to "OPEN"

I guess the Mods weren't working over the weekend. Cool.
