what would be a fair trade?

    ok... say if I wanted to trade 1 40% silver JFK half dollar with someone for some mercury dimes. what would be a fair trade? I just don't want to be ripped off.

    1 40% is a little more silver than 2 Mercury dimes.

    I'm not trying to be a smart aleck, but I think you should invest in a Red Book of US Coins. It provides the weights and silver content for every denomination.
