As you know, I'm trying to get some money to pay my honeymoon. So I'll have to sell some of my coins. Its very hard but I see no other way Now the question is, which of these will give me the better value ? - Cu-Ni USSR commemoratives (various subjects, around 60's to 90's) 1, 3 and 5 Roubles. - Ukraine 2 Hryvnia commemoratives. - Austria silver 5 EUR: Schoenbrunn Zoo, Water Power and Austrian Presidency of the EU - Germany silver 10 EUR World Cup Soccer.
I think whichever coins have the highest total silver value will be the best-selling ones. The Cu-Ni Soviet ones are nice, but they have no real valuable metal behind them, and the demand for a whole set like that I would say is kind of low, you won't get more than maybe $1-3 per coin (unless they are proof?).
I don't know how many coins you have of each set, but what you do have listed I don't think would pay for a honeymoon. I'm not sure on the Ukraine coin. From what I gather, these are special commemorative type coins. You figure out how much silver is in each and hope to get a few dollars over spot due to their commemorative nature. I agree with Rhino, the silver coins would net you the most money.
