What type of errors are these?

    Hi. I ran across 2 dimes tonight... what type of errors would these be? 1984 rim and 1970 LIBERTY. I’m not sure I’d call either of them double die. Let me know what you think. Thanks

    Good finds and good question.
    What you are seeing is a result of a Collar Clash.
    What happens to reeded coins such as Dimes, Quarters and Halves is that they have the appearance of a False Double Rim.

    This has absolutely nothing at all to do with a Doubled Die
