What type of error is this?

  1. Jefferson Nickel with doubling to forehead & adams apple/collar on obverse... also monument comes through to front & "O" from MONTICELLO is apparent on his head!!! On reverse, there are 2 more distinct outlines of Jefferson head! What value would this hold? 003.jpg 008.JPG 005.jpg 004.jpg 006.jpg

I want to say that it's a clashed die, but I really need clearer photos.

Looks like an interesting clash with 2+ events, at least that is what I am seeing on the reverse.
    Keep up the hunt!

It's a die clash for sure, but it looks like there might be a strong counterclash as well (the doubling on the obverse). Wait for one of the clashed die experts!

I'm not sure what to say about your nickel except that it's a great find.

You've got a double set of very strong clash marks and strong Type I counterclash on the obverse face. A scarce error. If you're interested in selling it, let me know. -- Mike Diamond
