What type of error is this? 1955-s Lincoln

    See attached image, see obverse between the B & E of liberty and on the reverse, a blodb on the right hand wheat stalk.

    That is refered to as a "BIE" error. it is actually just a die chip but it was common over several years. It was once quite collectable but people have come to realize it is just another die chip.

    Just a die chip, they were very popular in the sixties the BIE error. I have a million of them.:bigeyes:

    Much more popular in the '50's, look for the 1957 BIE error with die chips in the date. Now those I have a bunch of.

    great pictures..what kind of camera areyou using?

    Canon EOS Rebel XT 35mm DSLR, 6.3 MP. I need a macro lens for this error stuff though. The camera is better than the photographer. I'm thinking of picking up a Pentax 12MP
