I'am intrested in buying a North Africa series silver certificate dollar that is graded. I'am a coin collector and I'am buying this for my Uncle. My first question is what is a reputable grading company? Secondly; What is a good denomination to get(or stick with the dollar)?

I recommend using PMG(NGC) or PCGS, just as most would recommend them on the coin side. With currency, they include the EPQ & PPQ designations, (Exceptional Paper Quality, Premium Paper Quality), essentially meaning the note hasn't been artificially improved by washing or ironing. Be sure to look for those too.

As far as denominations, I think that's a personal choice. If I had to choose only one, I don't think I'd be able to make up my mind.

I have a 10 dollar note. I'd say its VG I paid 50 bucks last year. Got it because my grandfather fought in N. Africa. Good luck
