I crack open my mint lenses so that I can add the coins to my Dansco albums. I am curious as to what most of the lens crackers do with their non-silver S mint coins from the silver proof sets?
I guess this was a stupid question since this thread has 64 views and no comments. Thanks for all the responses.
You do realize the server was down for part of yesterday? And most people probably just missed the thread. List rzage said - anything you want. Sell them to the local coin shop for whatever you can get.
I keep BU clad sets and give them as gifts when the opportunity arrives. I like to give them as birth year sets. I find the recipients, non collectors, are still quite impressed and amazed. These sets are quite affordable and I have gotten unbelievable deals, mostly because they are so available. I prefer to keep as my prized collect only silver mint/year sets, and BU at that. Its great fun finding the right example for each coin, unless you are quite broke as I am at this moment. Hopefully this moment with pass quickly. On a more personal note I truly enjoy raw coins. Mint packaging doesn't allow for a personal touch in displaying sets for my taste in viewing pleasure. Keep on Collecting!!! Allen
Yes, I do know the server was down part of yesterday. That doesn't explain the 64 views with no responses as I stated! Don't be such a jerkass, jerkass! It was a simple question requiring a simple answer. walterallen, thanks for your response.
