What this is? Brakteat (?)

    Does anyone know what this is?
    Brakteat(?), XIII-XIV century(?)

    Weight: 0.22g
    Dimensions: 14 x 13.5mm
    Metal: I think it's silver with a dark patina

    Not my area of collecting. Can you show the other side. It has similarities to a Polish bracteate, but is also very similar to a stamp/wax seal.

    Definitely looks like a bracteate. I think that if you reverse the image 180 degrees, you see a bird's head. Not my area of expertise though, so wasn't able to definitively identify it.

    You're right, rotating the image 180 degrees we can clearly see a bird. I thought it was a tree :happy:
