http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=110941719797 Im speach less just found it looking at new buy nows What the **** is rainbow mountain im watching this to see what happens Oant why is the other word for heck censured
Probably because we have kids on the forum and we want the content to be about coins and not what words you can use to bring attention to yourself. The topic could have been labeled something like "another crazy ebayer" and would have gotten the same message across.
It's funny how a good story can help sell something. Not that this will sell, but what a story, lol...
WOW! Using his/her mother for sympathy. Selling luck? Even the prices have three 7’s in them! Of course, you never know, if his/her mother really is that bad off, maybe karma will bring you rewards if you help her out. I think I’ll buy it to help her out – NOT.
funny how that word gets censored yet theres a thread now with this word in the title.... http://www.cointalk.com/t212356/
Not only are they overpriced but the seller is asking you to buy them and then give them away. Ive seen stranger things like the one lady that ask for money to help pay off her creditcard debt and she got twice the amount she had ask for and did it useing the internet. Money wasnt as tight at that time and it seemed many were glad to help. Do you think he or she will sell those coins for that price useing the story written? If the story is true i hope he will. Have any of you tried to left a 2 gallon pail filled with water? ITS HEAVY. Just a nice thought but id carry it 5 miles if it was filled with silve coins The story i told i heard it on a talk radio show about 6 years ago and it was told to be true. The guy had the lady on his talk show so she could thank all that mailed her checks to pay off her debt.
He could keep the roll and buy a bunch of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-X-Magic-...352?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c62bdce78
I should buy these just to make his day, and then return them saying there isn't any "Gold" in these "Gold Dollars".
What I don't understand is how the OP can belittle this seller, right or wrong, when the OP seriously needs to retake 5th grade spelling. Chris
Just a quick one on the use of words on CoinTalk. Peter really wants this to be a kid safe place since there are so many new, young collectors who find their way here. Don't try and worm around the rules, instead be creative and say your obscinities (spelling?) in alternative ways. I tried to use a word in Japanese to welcome a Japanese poster, but it had a four letter word for fecees in the middle and it got bleeped too. Of course they use a program to police these things, otherwise they would charge a hefty fee to use this forum.
Upon viewing that listing, some folks ask "what the **** is rainbow mountain" I ask "who the **** is James A. Garfield ???" heh
