What the Error is this 1968-D Cent?

    Almost looks like a dryer coin that had the edges rolled or hammered after pulled out. That's my best guess, but I'm far from an expert. Someone should be along shortly to give us some insight.

    ... I was told mine was PMD a couple of months back, so I presume yours is as well, since they're nearly identical. :)

    And that's why I say I'm far from an expert. I would be interested to hear from an error expert on these...
