If you don't have one you should buy a Red Book. Or consider buying another book about coins you would like to collect.

Do you collect anything in particular, or are you just looking for any $100 purchase we happen to think is cool?

I viewed your past forum posts, and it almost looks like you're a coin guy Rickyh211. Your questions is a little vague. Are you looking for coins or currency ? What do you collect ?

Invest in my "THANK YOU" hedge fund.

    You send me $100.

I send you a nice, hand written thank you note.

    Win-Win! :)

You guys are being pretty harsh on him, I am still sticking with my suggestion of a 1921 peace

  16. Hm, for $100, you could pick yourself up a nice ASE, Morgan/Peace Dollar, and Walker half, with a little left over to spare.

Nothing against a 1921 Peace Dollar, but you do realize this is the PAPER money portion of Coin Talk. Maybe you would get more enthusiasm from the guys & gals that collect the round, metal discs.

You should buy some old bills, possibly even an old star note. OR you could put that money in a savings account and make interest off of it.

Let us all remember he is 9 years old. And whoever suggested a 1921 Peace, I think that's a great idea.

Think about it this way if he puts $100 in a savings account for 9 years with 1% APY. He will end up with $109.42. Or if you do CD's you can $116.37.

You know maybe you should just buy something.

There are many bonds that pay over 5%. His parents would also have to help him pay for one however it would teach him how interest works.
