As a numismatist, you have probably thought about selling some of your collection at one point or another. A popular venue for doing this is eBay. While most eBay auctions are executed quite well, there are always a handful that are done so poorly, that you can not do anything more than just laugh. So what we decided to do is highlight the worst/weirdest/dumbest/funniest numismatic related auctions that we can find! This is part of Numismatic Hub's newest series, aptly called "What NOT to do on eBay" and we hope you will find the posts informative as well as entertaining! We hope to highlight a new ridiculous auction each day, so please check back often. You can view our new series here- http://www.numismatichub.com
What a great idea. How will you address linked listings once eBay takes them down after 15 days? Lot's of forums constantly refer to weird, funny, ridiculous ebay auctions which simply do not come up after a month or so.
Good question - you can't archive the auctions, because eBay and the auction's author are the owners of the IP, right?
I thought I posted do screen shots? Someone will need to save and rehost this image. I don't have time right now.
Um, as GeorgeM pointed out, you're technically violating both eBay's and CoinTalk's Terms of Service by lifting those images. I won't tell, but it's probably a good idea to take them down.
As a seller, do not add images such as this: If there is someone who didn't recognize the coin right away, its "1920 Italian Coin Vittorio Emanvele III Re D' Italia", according to the lot title.
