What language is on this coin?

    Ok, I'm stumped. Anybody have a lead on what this is? It was obtained in India by the seller. What looks like a 2 could be an 8 in hindi (just rotated) but the other side is completely a mystery at this point. Ancient language? Seller doesn't know if it's gold, but looks like it to me.

    Looks Arabic to me, but perhaps something like Persian Farsi? I have no earthly idea. Just thinking.

    I don't know what it is but a lot of the Indian princely states issued their own coins even into the 20th century and that looks like the style of many of them.

    I had the same thought line as Hiddendragon...

    Perhaps a Indian Princely States coin...
