hey, I have a coin here and I have no idea what it is. I is a gold coin, both sides are identical, it has a angel( a women) with a halo on her head, 2 arcing wings, and what I think are clouds at the bottom of the coin, with lines stating at the center9 behind the angel) and expand to the edge of the coin. there is no date, or any writing of anykind on it. if I cna get a picture I will. And to clarify there is realy NO writing( meaning that it isnt just faded, it ias actually pretty clean) hope this is enough, I would really like to know what this, or if it is worth anything
Since it has no writing, face value or country of origin it would not be considered a coin. It seems like some kind of medal. A picture would really help.
k, I will try to get one up soon, if not tomorrow. that sucks, I the coin is interesting, and I was hopeing it was something special, but it does seem kinda fake, and lighter than it should be...
Is the "coin" gold or gold-colored? Could it be brass or bronze? Is the edge of the "coin" smooth or reeded? What is the diameter and weight of the "coin"?
good questions, I will measure it and such when I get home( im about to go to school) and off the top of my head, I am pretty sure it is gold, and it is smooth. I will get a the answers( and hopefully a picture) when I get back
