what kind of error

I lookes like jefferson has 3d hair. His hair is raised up on the nickel. by the way its a 1954. ANy value? Pardon my cruddy camera.

It's gonna take a heck of a lot better pic than that to get any useful help.

Try using the marco feature on the camera.
If necessary:
1) Remove from 2X2 holder
and
2) try with & without the flash.

 

Hey man, here's some tips on how to get better pics:

1. If your camera has a quality feature, put it on it's lowest.
2. Find a little flower button on the camera, that is that macro mode to get some good close up shots.
3. By putting it on it's lowest quality, you can normally still zoom in on the coin, while still getting clear shots.
4. Take bunches of pics, and post your best ones.
5. Have fun. :thumb:

do you have a scanner? scanners take a really good picture of coins if you get a good one.

 

no I don't. Oh well. its very interesting just wish I could share it.

 

See if you can get a friend with a good camera to take a good shot and e-mail it to you. Then you can post it here.

 

This is what I do.... First take it out of the holder.. then good lighting.. then
here it comes
hold a magnifying glass up to your camera and youll be able to get a picture like this
