I don't think this is a doubled die, but I'm struggling to figure out what kind of doubling it is. Any insight out there today?
That is a plating disturbance. It happens upon the strike of the coin, this tends to loosen the copper plating from the core. It is not a Doubled die.
No added value doubling. It's a term that includes all types of what some refer to as worthless doubling. MD, DDD, Ejection Doubling and others are included in NAV.
