What kind of doubling is this?

I would say DD or MD.

 

Then again ive been wrong before.[Many times]

 

Looks like some chatter from loose hub, machine doubling.

 

Still a very nice coin. I found my first 1937 last week.

 

Thank you, I believe it to be MD after reading up on doubling and the types, but it's still pronounced doubling and I like the look.

 

I have some fantastic MD coins that I would never throw away.
