I have several small ones, but they measure from 11 mm and up, this one I could not get the lighting and details to show up right, the details are way better than photo graph. So here is my smallest coin, Arcadius AE4, 10 mm 1.1 grams . DN ARCADIVS PF AVG (R retrograde), pearl diademed, draped, cuirassed bust right / SALVS REI-PVBLICAE, Victory walking left, holding trophy over shoulder and dragging a captive behind her. Chi-Rho in left field. Mintmark AQP. RIC IX Aquileia 58c, thanks for looking and show your smallest Roman coin
My smallest is also a Constantine that I purchased not too long ago: CONSTANTINE I THE GREAT AE3. Struck at ARLES, 321-322 AD. CONSTANTINVS AVG, laureate head right. Reverse - D N CONSTANTINI MAX AVG around wreath containing VOT XX, P (star in crescent) A in exergue. RIC 239. 19mm, 3.3g.

A tiny silver sestertius Roman Republic AR Sestertius(12.75 mm, 1.14 g, 2h). Anonymous, first anonymous denarius coinage series. Circa 211 B.C. Rome mint. Helmeted head of Roma right; behind, IIS. Border of dots / Dioscuri galloping right; in linear frame, ROMA. Line border. Crawford 44/7; Sydenham 142; RSC 4; Russo RBW 176-177 Comparison to a quinarius, denarius and victoriatus
My smallest Roman is this unattributed LRB (10mm, 0.90g), next to a Vespasian sestertius. How the mighty have fallen!
I had fun with this; cool post. Got to go through my Late Roman album comparing flip info. Thanks, don't get an excuse to do that much. Got a Zeno monogram nummi at 9X8mm, that ties with another Zeno, a Leo I & a Justinian I (if your gonna count him for this), but by my eye this looks the smallest. These things are not easy to photograph. Here's the 1st Zeno, followed by a 5th C. or so Barbarous coin with a Doad. bust R. & (I'm guessing?) Vict. adv. L. W/wr., MM below: RM? (only the bottom 1/2 on-flan) that's just under 7X6mm. Not "Roman", but immitating a Roman type.
