I voted Morgan because it's the one I have the most of, and it is a staple coin of many collections.:)

If some collector likes the golden presidential dollars the most, what about that? Not saying I do, my fave is the Peace dollar, but if Native American is an option then so should Pres. dollars.

Aren't the Native American and Sacagawea Dollars the same thing? I mean, the obverse is the same on both and don't we refer to a coin by the obverse design?

  19. I can't decide, that is why I collect them all. I suppose if I was forced to decide, I would choose the trade dollar.

Well, if that is the case, you can send all those really nice Ikes you have my way :)

I originally started collecting Ikes because I felt it was an obtainable collection. This little project started over a year ago now, and I'm just starting realize that there is far more to this collection that meets the eye.
New discoveries within the series are being made all the time. From the Nixon Presentation Dollars, to the new Naked Eye Varieties. Toners are also well represented.
For everyone that has written off this series, I think it deserves another look. They are the last of the large coinage, and the series has something for everyone.

    All US dollars til 1978.
Morgan +Peace dollar are 99% of my collection.
I have 1 Following Hair 1 Bust dollar and 1 Seated dollar 1 Trade dollar. Them 4 took about 6-7 to pay off.back in 1980-1990 that is why only one of each.
But Morgan + Peace dollar are affordable to 98% of us .
But Sacagawea dollars are getting very interesting with the new reverse each year. Presidential I Will own the mint set and proof
Til my subscription ends ,that Will be the day I go to the earth to be worm food. I hope that a lot later but @62yrs old I may not get the full Presidential set.
