Now I know this is a hard question, so we'll say that you can change your mind once a week Here is how I knew I REALLY liked this coin. You see, I bought it for my daughter because it is dated 1991 - the year of her birth. But then I couldn't bring myself to give it to her. Before you think I am completely selfish, I should mention that this wasn't the only 1991 coin I got for her. I got a number of them. But this one, well, this one I decided to keep. Isle of Man 1/10th Angel
This topic comes up every now and then, and the result is always the same. TOO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM! But, what the heck? Here are some of my favorites: So many coins to pick from. That why I love this hobby!
Belgium 1837 5 centimes MS-64RB copper the funny part is...this is not my most valuable coin either. my most valuable coin is a gold coin and get this I still prefer this copper coin.
the hunt/wait on getting this coin makes it worth more to me than gold. nothing like getting a scarcer coin finally. I now have a much deeper appreciation for older dated higher grade coins.
I have older coins dated back to the 1700"s with mintages in the hundreds, I don't care what they are worth, I Have One....
I get you. funny you should mention 1700's cause someday I want to make a short set (1 coin from each) of each centurys 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th century. this will be a challenge and maybe pricey but the glory of getting it done and admiring it would be incredible.
The Isle of Man Angel is definitely on my list of coins to own. January I get to buy my first 1/10 oz coin (I'm going to buy one every 3 years to signify 1/10 of my career is done) and the Angel will probably be the first one.
It's the coin that YOU don't have - of course! j/k My untainted, undipped, unmolested 1928-P Peace Dollar
