    Hi,
We recently found this coin while going through some of my grandfathers coins. It is dated 1926 and is identical to a 20.00 gold piece except of course for the size. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a novelty token. These have been made for at least the last three decades and for various denominations. At times they are accompanied by a flip that might say something like "Our shrinking dollar" or something like that. It is possible that it might have some gold content, but the vast majority of these novelties do not contain precious metals.
