Hey , I recently bought 2 One dollar, type three Gold Indian Princess Head coins at a local pawn shop. They were selling for the gold value and I was buying for the numismatic value. I snatched them away for 90 dollars apiece. I cant post pictures(technical difficulties) but they are XF and one is an 1856 Slanted 5 and the other a 1858.Both have full rims and all the little bump things on the edge. The 1856 has very slight wear on the headress, I mean just barely, and the 1858 just looks perfect on the headress and the Indian Head. The only reason I think its been in any circulation at all is because its lost a little luster. It is a great coin and has just amazing eye appeal. These are my first gold coins ever that I got of the money of my 12th birthday wendesday. I thought if I was gonna buy coins it may have been old coins from the mid-1800 s than modern day bullion.Which I eventually purchase gold bullion later on. I know it is hard to tell me without pics, but Ive given my best description.Any answers, questions,or comments would be appreciated.:smile

Overall, you got a great deal. Looks like even the ones holed or looped go for more than you paid.:thumb:
