Here is a 1917 one dollar bill. It is not in fantastic shape. I have no idea how to grade paper money so I don't know the grade. What do you all think?
I can't make out the signatures. My Coin Prices magazine shows it as $75.00 in fine, unless it is signed Burke-Elliott, then it is $275.00. It looks close to "fine", but it is hard to tell, through the holder.
I will try to get a better picture of it. It does have folds and creases in it. But like I said I have no idea on grading it. Thanks.
Here are a couple of photos with it out of the holder. It has no rips or tears but several creases. Sorry my camera stinks. I hope to get a better one this year.
It has Speelman-White signatures, I don't think it will make "fine", IMHO, but I am not a pro at grading. Definitely worth more than face value. I do have a 1917 Speelman-White $1 and a $2 note in my collection.
