Is this a coin or a medal? There is no denomination on it at all, that I can see. It is exactly the same size as a Kennedy Half (found it roll searching) and is clad.

    Thanks

The denomination is written obverse, 'medio-Balboa' or half balboa. The balboa was designed to be equivalent to the US dollar, thus the similarity in diameter between this coin and a US half dollar.

    Oh!

Thanks! I didn't know that "Balboa" was a denomination.

    Cool find then. :)
