What is this... greek coin?

    Not my forte, but this is clearly a cast copy of a coin with Athena on the front. Coins of this era were hammered, so when you find them with the bubble marks around her head, you know the metal was melted and poured into a cast and then cooled.

    It's a copy of a gold stater of Alexander the Great (336-323 BC)
