Not so worried about value... Appears to be silver, but beyond that, I can find ZERO info on the origin... Any insights from you pros out there? Seems a lot of glory to bestow up poultry... BOTH sides of coin/medallion no less...

I think you nailed it. That's the founder's signature above the chicken on the reverse, and the 25th anniversary would have been 1980, halfway between the chain's huge expansion and its bankruptcy. The .9999 beneath the globe implies that it's a pure silver round.
Thanks for the info guys... I did find the info on the restaurant... I can only assume that this was some type of commem for the 25th anniversary... Just curious why a chicken joint would go to the expense of making silver rounds... I wonder how many were made and for whom?... Of course, making silver server of the month awards might explain why they were bleeding profit so badly... For the record, I wish my morgans were toned like that...
