    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

    As with any large copper coin, I would advise storing it in a 2x2 kraft paper envelope, not a mylar and cardboard 2x2. Copper of that age especially is prone to reacting with retained moisture, and the kraft paper envelope helps keep it dry.
