What is this coin worth?

    Could this be a Proof? This coin has a very shiny background with full rainbow on front and reverse.

    Looks like an ordinary circulated coin to me. No idea as to value but probably not worth a lot.

    This is a British penny, a very common coin of the date as they minted nearly 155,000,000 of them.
    If you had a 1933 then you would be dollars in as there were only ever 7 minted.
    Another date to look out for is 1950.

    Not to hijack this but I have hundreds of these unsearched. Can someone write up a quick list for dates to look out for and values? If not thats fine.

    1902 with a lower sea level than other 1902 to 1910 coins
    1904
    1912, '18 and '19 with small mint mark letters to the left of the date
    1926 with colons between legends on portrait side closer to the left instead of centered
    1931 and 1934 in high grade
    1950 and 1951 (struck for colonies)

    Prices are retail value and are in uk pound stirling.
    Check out the 1922 date, check the portrait side to a 1927 if there identical then you have a very valuable coin.
