I found this coin in my collection, and the only thing I can clearly make out is the date, which is 1656. I couldn't ID the coat of arms, and much of the writing doesn't make sense to me. Has anyone seen it before/know what it is? It definitely pre-dates all of the books I have if the date is correct.

Very cool coin, or token. I think it's a coin and I think it's a Polish coin but it could be a token. It would have been before they used Zloty's and way before anything you will probly see on ebay. I am sure that I'm right and it's a coin but maybe someone else will chime in with more info. It could also be a Jeton token, good luck with that one!! :D
