    Hi

I'm hoping somebody out there can give me an idea of how much one of my coins is worth. It an Egyptian 2 millieme copper coin dated 1906. It's in very good condition, apart from one side where the copper has gone a little bit green. I'm very new to coin collecting so I would really appreciate your thoughts on this.

AH means 'Anno Hegeriae' or 'Hegira Year'.There's a chart in the back of Krause to help you convert by the cheat's way. There is an Islamic date converter posted in another section.

Type in 'Islamic Date Converter' into the search engine. It will come up.

Bruce,no problem! I needed to know this as quite a few British Commonwealth countries in the Far East actually use the AH calendar on their coins in addition to the AD calendar.
