Really depends on the grade of the coin last I looked a ms65 was valued at 500 dollars but it also depends if you can find a buyer willing to pay that much

I've never had it graded and I'm not a professional coin expert so I wouldn't venture to guess what I could get for this one I sold the first I found for 250 dollars but that was 6 years ago. Again you have to find a buyer that is willing to give you what you ask.

Ya got me beat...all I've ever found in circulation is worth about face value or maybe 2 to 3 times face. Maybe that 1913 lincoln cent in G2.5 condition might fetch 2 cents?

When I sorted coins from my vending business I have a 1909-S vdb and a Canadian 1954 NSF 5 cent.

My experience is similar to iontyre's. When my father died in the late 60's, we persuaded my mother not roll up the vast number of coins he had in a bureau drawer and bring to the bank. Dad's coin collection was just to throw his loose change into the drawer. As we began separating the coins my nephew spotted a 1909S V.D.B. Lincoln. But when I moved a couple of years ago, and album with it and other pennies, including indian heads, disappeared. I tell the story only as an example that change can bring up prizes. Another disappointment was a beautiful 1928 Peace Dollar, no mint mark. Before offering it for sale I looked it up on the internet and found it was counterfeit. With the right illumination you see the 1923 under the 1928. But its been interesting sorting the coins out. But what should I do with the culls?
