See this http://www.jeffersoncoinandbullion.com/current.php?page=5. Scroll down to look at a 1921 Chapman - according to this only 10 of them were made. You can get one here for only about 35K. Of course the picture really sucked so I would say that one was a fraud(but I could be wrong).
Wow. Supposedly there are Zerbe and Chapman Morgan proofs in 1921. Check out this link. They have certain characteristics, but how can you tell from those photos? Zero feedback, blurred pictured, not certified, money order/checks only.... I'd only go as high as 30k.
You learn something new everday! I thought the guy was just trying to pass off a 1921 morgan for a lot of cash (which he might be doing anyway)
Just think if they sold it for 45K they could run out and buy the one I posted a link at make 5 or 6K profit(unless it already sold). And I could post tons of links to rare/key date/etc over graded coins on Ebay. It takes more time to weed out the crap than anything else.
