Best pics a ole one armed guy can do with the broken tripod & micro
    acting funny.
The zoom in shot really helps if you can handle the light, enjoy what you
see & its naked eye viable very nice to, as your eyes dance & it just keeps
giving you more, Obverse & reverse the serifs split just as need be. Doubled Die
needs to split or divided something. Die Varieties happen before the strike.
And errors by the strikes. There is something going on with this coin that
brings to my mind a lot of error varieties the 1960 over date - am I seeing
things are is this coin not triple struck as well as doubled die ? If I could keep the
photos from blowing up the pixels I would. I am sending it in and hope some one will help me better describe what it is. I am just learning to separate Die Varieties from
    error stikes. dd coins 012.JPG dd coins 011.JPG 1976 h.jpg 1976 g.jpg 1976 d doubling DD or MD both.jpg 1976 c.jpg 1976 b.jpg dd coins 012.JPG dd coins 011.JPG 1976 h.jpg 1976 g.jpg 1976 d doubling DD or MD both.jpg 1976 c.jpg 1976 b.jpg dd coins 012.JPG dd coins 011.JPG 1976 h.jpg 1976 g.jpg 1976 d doubling DD or MD both.jpg 1976 c.jpg 1976 b.jpg dd coins 012.JPG dd coins 011.JPG 1976 h.jpg 1976 g.jpg 1976 d doubling DD or MD both.jpg 1976 c.jpg 1976 b.jpg dd coins 012.JPG dd coins 012.JPG

There's nothing there, @rustywrenches. Your photography is so good I can say that without question based just on these photographs.

    I see a little mechanical doubling...but that's it.

Isn't it strange, once you see these pics enlarged here how different they look than under a low powered magnifier. All of those striations mean it came from a deteriorated die as well as the mechanical doubling. Not a variety but keep looking. Something will come to you.
