Can't tell if the surface is damage from being harshly cleaned or if its actually pitted due to being counterfeit. More experienced eyes, what do you think? https://www.ebay.com/itm/394633787379?
I'm not a Morgan collector at all but I would pass simply because of that funky surface, looks to have granularity interruptus! j/k I would stay away from this seller as none of his coins look good or genuine!
Obverse denticles at 5 o'clock are all wrong. Reverse N in United top is chopped off. All the letters on reverse look too clean for the amount of wear on the rest of the coin. Other than that, it looks like they have some suckered bitting.
I think it's the same reverse die as the fake 1878-CC you posted yesterday, passed around too many times. Blech.
