    OK,

    This a "bill" that I see mentioned a lot in the U.S. currency threads (that's a big hint).
    Something is different about it and if you look real close you'll see that there are differences on both the front and back.

    By the way this is a note as in Federal Reserve Note. A bill is something you get in the mail and hate. A note is something you want to help pay the bills. ;O)

    Dan,I think it could be either one of 2 things;

    A. A mule banknote.

    B. A very deceptive concoction made to look like a genuine mule banknote.

    A mule banknote is one in which the front & back plates are mismatched prior to printing. Some of them are extremely rare.

    Bill is slang. Let me know when it reads Federal Reserve Bill on U.S. currency cuz then we're in real trouble.

    Thanks but I knew what it was all along as it's mine. Tough block too.

    I have the Kvedros book on web notes and a few hundred web notes as well. The reason I posted this was that I see so many "cool" finds etc that mention "maybe it's a web note".

    This is an informational thread as it were.

    Thanks for participating!

    ahh gotcha lol

    Most all my webs are common, so far i have 50 individual notes out of the 242? total. I did just buy one of the top 50 notes not too long ago. I dont have my PPC with me, and it has my database on it, so i cant give you block serial till tommorrow. but i know the note has a rarity of 1 with less then 11 known i think it was....

    and that is my only rare web.. all the others are pretty common...

    Common being a relative term here. I used to pull them out of circulation. Haven't seen one in YEARS!

    The one I pictured is probably my most valuable. I never actually collected them but I am an opportunist.

    ok, my 1 rare web has a serial of A17736463G with F/B plates of 9/6. i checked the main web note web site again. there are only 11-20 known to exist.

    Its cool you collected a bunch from circulation! i caught on to them rather late, and so i onyl found 3 or 4 in circulation. At that point, i thought i only had 8 or so to go to collect the series set lol it was only after i looked into webs further that i realized a full set was much more then 12 notes :)
