i have been collecting coins for a while never realy considering that they could be worth something. these are what i have

    - a 1998 australian 50 cent peice with elizibeth the second on one side, and on the other 2 men and their names Gerorage Bass, and Mathew Munders. also printed on this side DISCOVERY OF BASS STRAIGHT 1798-1998 and australia and tasmanian island with sydney marked on the map.

    - a 1980 australian 50 cent peice with elizibeth the 2nd on one side, and a kangaroo and an emu (maybe) holding a crest

    - a canadian penny with a seagull on back also printed on back 1867-1957 (all other canadian pennies i have seen have maple leaves printed on back

    - 30 or so wheatie pennies

-a completly blank penny ( i know theres a word for this i cant remeber it though)

-1978 bermuda penny feturing elizibeth 2 on one side and a warthog (?) on the reverse

-1937 buffalo nickel (althouh moderatly worn on both sides)

-i have a 1898 coin with the statue of libertys head on one side surrounded by 13 stars and the reverse is american eagle with arrows and branch on talons (again moderatly worn on both sides)

-the first coin i ever received was a 1984 silver dollor one side has liberty bell and "life liberty happyness) on a banner above the bell, printed below the bell is A-MARK 999 PURE SILVER, onthe reverse is teh american eagle gripping 3 arrows in his left talon and a branch in his right, he is surounded by 16 stars, printed below the eagle LIBERTY SILVER

The first 3 are basically worth just their face value in their respective currencies, same with the bermuda 1c.

BTW, the Canadian cent is 1967, and it's a dove.

The 1967 Canadian 1c. is a commemorative one,
which is for the Centenary of Confederation.

This is not a silver dollar more like a Silver round...it is 1 ounce of silver and the value is a few cents over spot price for silver--I think today I saw spot silver at $7.26.

If you post a photo of this coin it would help...it sounds like a Morgan Silver Dollar--look under the eagle and see if there is a small letter like O or CC...if there is let us know as that would help the value....the letter is the MInt Mark and tells what mint it is from...if there is no mint mark it is a P as the mint P didn't put a mint mark.

    What are the dates?
Most of the time wheat cents go for $0.05 each.

    Hope this helps a little.
