Would star notes ore notes with repeating serial numbers tend to have more value? And how can you guage how much each would be woth. Just askign because I came across both lately.
Without knowing the series and actual serial numbers (as well as relative condition) it's impossible to say. Here goes the clembo "broken record" again. There are a LOT of variables in currency. Give us a bit more infor (as stated above) and pics if possible. clembo
here is the $20 dollar repeater. It comes up small but it is B82398239N 1985. Atl least you can kind of get the idea of the shape its in
Keep the repeater without a doubt! The U.S. is currently dertroying all pre-1996 $20 notes regardless of condition as they get their hands on them. You not only have a repeater - you have a series who's numbers will drop dramatically NEVER to be replaced. So what's the serial and series of the star note?
That sounds like good news. The star is a 1995 serial number A13504750*. I cant believe how crisp that repeater was it must have came out of someones collection. Right into the ATM.
Nothing overly special about the single but why not keep it? It was only a buck right? Like RickieB said though get a mylar sleeve for that 20. Doubt you'll find another one like it. Good eye!
