What Happened to This 1969 D Lincoln?

Hi guys, got an interesting Lincoln the other day and just looking for opinions and/or information on what's going on here. I have learned to assume PMD in situations like this, but the odd designs are actually raised apart from the three odd marks at the right bottom corner of the monument, which look as if they go under the design of the initials and design. Some kind of damage- that could not be an error.

Haha well that's awfully pessimistic! I would tend to agree apart from the fact that all of the areas that look like PMD are raised and UNDER the areas struck. How would someone manage that outside of the mint?

The stamp "1971" on the back could not have been produced at the mint if the coin is a 1969.

Your coin look like it is a Vise-Job. Where two or more coins are squeezed together in a vice so than impart there designs onto the other coins.

Where is there a 1971 stamp? Must be missing that

Shown in your 5th image. As alurid said, since it is a vise-job, someone compressed a 1971 cent over a 1969 cent.

Wouldn't the extra design be incuse if it were pressed into another coin with a vice? And how would it be under the devices if it were pressed into it after the original coin was struck?

    Is the "1971" not incuse?

Ahhh...this is why I ask! Totally missed the 1971 since it's backwards. I definitely see that now, just still don't entirely understand someone's process to get what looks like another rim to run entirely through and around USA on the reverse and be raised while still showing the full detail of USA on the current coin. Someone must've had some time and creativity on this one. Thanks guys

It is, and I noticed that it was but didn't realize it was 1971 backwards and upside down until it was pointed out. That was the only spot to look entirely incuse, but the most obvious either way once it was pointed out.
