No, I am not a fan of the shallow strike, but that bothers me less than that idiotic beard they put on him. If you look at the Lincoln from the teens, his beard looked like a beard with hair. The only way his beard could resemble what they put on his face today would be if he corn rowed his beard.
All I stopped collecting lincoln cents after 2000. I hate the flatness overall of all our coinage not just the cent.
And the perm. Lincoln never had curly hair in real life, and the first Lincoln cents didn't either. I'm not even sure thats Lincoln any more on the cent. Guy~
looks better after you use the blow dyer Ruben PS: Rare that you can use the same response for two threads.
Maybe if they quit making them for seventeen years like the Morgan dollar, they'll come back with sharpened dies in 2021. Just kidding. I believe they may be working on improving the obverse, depending on how you interpret the legislation for 2009 Lincoln cents.
what........................................... ............i thought corn rows were only for football players!!
