What happened here??

    The cent portrays two lines on the reverse, any clue?

    Not a strike through,this is just discoloration of the cent maybe from circulation, probably enviormental damage.

    I assume you are talking about the lines going up to the u in "pluribus". That is the result of gas bubbles under the copper plating. many early zincolns had this problem.

    A little mistake on my part sorry, Yes those lines are called elongated gas bubbles,and are commen on these cents.

    I thought you also were refering to the obverse were there's a planchet problem discoloration/
